Self-emulsifying Ester – X Easy plus

Self-emulsifying esters is mainly formed by the reaction of special chain acid and multifunctional alcohol to esterify into a substance with superior lubricity – we call it self-emulsifying ester. It is a multi-functional product, especially suitable for use in metal working fluids. It is one of the best products to solve the lubricity of metal working fluids.

 

It can replace part of sulfur and phosphorus extreme pressure agents. At the same time, it can completely replace chlorine series products to reduce the harm of chlorine-based lubricants.

 

Self-emulsifying ester X Easy plus is a kind of self-emulsifying water-soluble ester with many special multifunctional functional groups. This polymer ester has three basic functions, lubrication, emulsification and hard water stability. Based on this, self-emulsifying ester X Easy plus is especially suitable for formulations of semi-synthetic cutting fluid.

Main Feature:

  • Very good dispersibility in water, it can quickly form a stable white emulsion when mixed with water, and can form a stable equilibrium system with other components of the cutting fluid. To form a fully synthetic system, just add enough alcohol amine. easy to operate.
  • In the molecular structure, it contains both ester group and carboxyl group. This structure can effectively reduce the wear between the interfaces, prolong the service life of the tool, and 2.   • Similar resistance to hard water as ether carboxylic acid. Even long-term use in hard water environments up to 5000ppm can achieve sufficient stability.
  • Has good biological stability. The isomeric structure in the molecule makes it have antibacterial properties, thus reducing the amount of fungicides.
 

The Properties of Self-Emulsifying Ester in Synthetic Cutting Fluid:

In order to explore the possibility of self emulsifying ester as the main lubricant of the synthetic cutting fluids, different synthetic working fluids were prepared with polyether, tetramer of castor oil and self-emulsifying ester as lubricants. The lubrication, anti-wear and anti-foam performances of the three lubricants in the synthetic cutting fluids were investigated by using four ball testing machine, Microtap tapping torque tester and liquid circulation foam testing machine. The results shows that the self-emulsifying ester can effectively improve the lubrication and anti-wear performances of the synthetic cutting fluids, and its lubrication and anti-wear performance are similar to that of tetramer of castor oil. The anti-foaming property of self-emulsifying ester is better that of tetramer of castor oil and its anti-foam performance is equivalent to that of polyether lubricant (PAGs).
